Miramar Beach

As much as a vacation paradise as its neighbors to the east and west, Destin and Sandestin respectively, Miramar Beach is one of the more exciting areas Florida's Emerald Coast has to offer. Interestingly, while many communities in Florida have added "Beach" to the end of their name to differentiate themselves between a neighboring city or two, the city of Miramar, Florida is well over 400 miles away from Miramar Beach, and for that, I couldn't feel more sorry for the residents of Miramar. Home to the exhilarating and relaxing recreation of the Seascape Resort, Miramar Beach is a place that has it all. Shopping, dining, the great outdoors and most importantly for people who enjoy living it up in their day to day lives, some gorgeous homes and condos as well.

For the nature lover in your family, Miramar Beach offers a myriad of different options await. Beyond the turquoise waters of the Emerald Coast and the gentle blue Choctawhatchee Bay, Miramar Beach hosts the Coffeen Nature Preserve as well as Topsail Bluff. A bit further to the east one will find the Topsail Preserve State Park and its dune lakes to traverse.

Shoppers in Miramar Beach will most likely find everything they need in either of Destin's two shopping malls or the Grand Boulevard plaza. Not too much further is all the fun and uniqueness of 30A's many villages and towns, and if you're in the mood to take a little bit of a drive, Pensacola and Panama City Beach aren't far off at all. However, as many visitors of Miramar Beach lament when they return home, even with all the time in the world, it would be difficult to truly appreciate and enjoy everything offered just in Miramar Beach and its two next door neighbors.
